EXTENDED PILOT PLANT TESTING
Artisan Industries utilizes a fully-operational Pilot Plant Testing facility that demonstrates how our technologies can simplify your operations by eliminating processing steps. Our pilot plant testing for industrial process systems provides customers with unique and valuable insights. Reduce your operating costs associated with multiple unit operations and improve the yield and purity of your product.
We engineer single or multi-stage systems that are specifically tailored to your application. We will then run a complete process of your application utilizing our engineered solution with your full participation.
“We chose Artisan because they were knowledgeable and because they had a Pilot Plant that could prove the process before we scaled up to production.”
— Jason Dana, Process Engineer Caravan Ingredients
Every request for industrial pilot testing at Artisan goes through an in-depth engineering evaluation. This includes process simulation, equipment configuration, and preparation of a comprehensive test protocol prior to the start of the test. Our experienced process engineers will be assigned to manage and supervise the test to ensure satisfactory results.
To produce your finished product, our engineers will perform reactions, both batch and continuous, and concurrently test the appropriate post-reaction unit operations. Our Pilot Plant also accommodates additional upstream or downstream unit operations like centrifuges, coalesces, belt coolers, pelletizers, extruders, and so forth. As you can see, our extended pilot testing for industrial process systems takes every variable into account.
“I felt like the entire testing group was genuinely interested in satisfying my process needs and getting the desired end product. Several conditions were tried to get the desired outcome, which provided insight on the equipment capabilities.”
— Celanese Chemicals
“Everything we wanted to do was done and much was learned about the process/equipment. Pilot operations made it work. Without them it would have been inefficient and costly.”
— Mike Leamen, PhD, P. Engineering Director of Engineering Strenna Industries
Our engineering team will determine which of our proprietary heat and mass transfer equipment will best suit your application, based on the results of your test. We will either develop a customized solution to improve your current process or design a new process scheme to reduce your operating costs and will provide a detailed budget for your evaluation.
When extended pilot plant testing is complete, you will leave the Pilot Plant with a specific understanding of the selected processing technology with results, product samples, documentation, and first-hand experience or your application solution.
Please fill out our Design Data Questionnaire and one of our Engineers will contact you to discuss which extended pilot tests for industrial systems will best suit your application.
