Artisan’s Rototherm thin/wiped film evaporator’s robust design incorporates piloted o–ring flange joint construction with polished metal to metal flange facing surfaces. This design approach maintains concentricity of the rotor with the process shells and maintains a precise control on shell tolerance stack-up. The uniconstruction rotor is designed for rigidity (minimum shaft deflection) which helps maintain a uniform film thickness resulting in a higher heat flux. The rotor also incorporates a robust shaft-trunnion design which is crucial for combating fatigue and extending rotor life to match the life cycle of the equipment without repair.
