Manufacturing Capabilities
With over 50,000 square feet of production space, high bays, and impressive material handling capacity, Artisan can fabricate large, heavy, or complex products. Our machining centers and skilled machinists can handle the most demanding work. We have assembled pieces resulting in weight over 20 tons, and systems with footprints of 10 ft. × 27 ft. and heights of 47 ft.
Fabrication Equipment
- 4 VTL’s up to 55,000 Lbs. and 101” under rail & 104” swing
- 3 HBM up to 30,000 Lbs. and 7” spindle
- 7 Vertical milling machines up to 28,000 Lbs. and 78” × 78” table
- 9 Lathes up to 32” swing & 144” between centers
- 1 Wire EDM with work piece size up to 41” × 31” × 14”
11 of the above machines are CNC machining centers
Materials
Artisan has extensive experience working with many types of metals, including alloy steel, aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, Hastelloy®, Inconel®, Monel®, and titanium.

Weld Expertise
A large portion of our work is done to ASME pressure vessel codes and military and industrial specifications using the following welding processes:
- FCAW - Flux Cored Arc Welding
- GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding, also known as MIG welding
- GTAW - Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, also known as TIG welding or Heli-Arc
- SAW - Submerged Arc Welding
- SMAW - Shielded Metal Arc Welding, also known as stick welding
Artisan can also develop the welding procedures you require and provide complete documentation. Inspections are carried out by dedicated in-house welding inspectors.
