In 2010 Artisan successfully completed American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) certification to use N and NPT stamps on components and parts used in nuclear power and fuel reprocessing plants.
This certification covers requirements for design, materials, manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance in accordance with the requirements of the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code. It allows Artisan to supply vessels, piping systems and ferrous & nonferrous material for nuclear related applications.
For nuclear related projects that do not require an N or NPT stamp, Artisan now maintains a quality assurance program that is NQA-1 compliant.
